Castle Pines, Colorado is located in Douglas County and is occupied by roughly 10,000 residents. It’s elevation is higher than that of Denver, at 6,368 feet, and is nestled North of the Town of Castle Rock and south of the City of Lone Tree, Colorado. In 2007, Castle Pines officially became known as the City of Castle Pines by popular vote. At the time of incorporation, Castle Pines was the county’s first new city since the 1990’s, and Colorado’s 271st municipality.

The city also offers plenty of local amenities such as the Outlets at Castle Rock, the most Southern Whole Foods North of Colorado Springs, the Castle Pines Village Square as well as all the local shops, restaurants and amenities you may need.
Castle Pines is home to 5 parks and over 10 miles of trails, as well as 2 golf courses; the incredible, private Castle Pines Golf Club and The Ridge at Castle Pines. If you’re looking for a larger home that’s outside of the hustle and bustle of it all, without being too far from anything, Castle Pines may be worth a closer look.
