Brighton, Colorado is a Northeastern suburb of Denver located in Adams and Weld counties, Colorado. The City was founded in the late 1800s and was originally named Hughes Station, serving as a railroad depot and farming community. Its name was later changed to Brighton after Brighton Beach in New York.

Brighton is not only home to its 40,000 residents, but also over 300 species of birds at The Bird Conservancy of the Rockies. Outdoor enthusiasts can visit the 2,715-acre Barr Lake State Park, offering miles of trails and water for things like horseback riding, biking, fishing, boating and more. Brighton also offers a Downtown Historic District where you can find historic buildings, shops, eateries and more.
