Belcaro or “beautiful beloved” in Italian is a beautiful neighborhood found within Denver. To the North, you will find Cherry Cheek and Alameda Avenue, to the east Colorado Boulevard, to the South, East Mississippi Avenue and to the West, South University Boulevard.

The Denver neighborhood gets its name from Lawrence C. Phipps’ mansion who was a senator who represented Colorado in the early 1900s. He developed much of the neighborhood with many large ranch homes on tree-lined streets and large lots.

Just a quick 15-minute drive to Downtown Denver, Belcaro offers a variety of restaurants, bars, shopping centers and parks such as Bonnie Brae Park. There are two schools within the Belcaro neighborhood, Hallett Fundamental Academy for Preschool to 5th grade and the Girls Athletic Leadership Middle School for 6th to 8th grade.

This charming community offers lush yards and plenty of trees, with easy access to I-25, central Denver and the light rail public transportation system. Also located near this location are Washington Park, Glendale, Denver Country Club, Denver Polo Club and Cherry Creek North restaurants, bars and shopping including the Cherry Creek Mall.
