How I Live Inspired

  • Attending professional sports games with my family
  • Coaching my sons in sports
  • Vacationing with my family
  • Enjoying Colorado’s outdoors

Little-known fact or What I’m known for

It all started on a very cold and snowy day when I was born in a car. I couldn’t WAIT to enter this world and hit the ground running. This led to my college and professional career in running. My attempt to qualify for the Olympic Trials in the marathon may have come up short, but this hasn’t stopped me from chasing other dreams!

Q&A with Robert

1. What do you love about your job?

Helping someone with the most significant investment of their lives is something I genuinely enjoy. It doesn’t feel like work if you enjoy what you do and although it took nearly 40 years, I feel I found what I was destined to do.

2. Do you work full-time as a real estate agent?

Yes. I feel if you aren’t working full time and keeping a pulse on the markets you are working in, I’m not sure you are doing the best for your clients. Our market is ever changing in all locales of Colorado. Research is an integral part of being a successful agent and making sure you are available for your clients is essential in a market like ours.

3. What sets you apart from the competition?

I believe my past experiences (both personal and professional) help me prove to my clients that I have THEIR best interests at hand. Whether it’s a First-Time Home Buyer, Veteran or Professional Athlete, I have been blessed to be a part of a lot of people’s lives. I worked in lending for 11 years before becoming an agent so sharing that knowledge with a Buyer is critical to setting the process on the right path. My customer service is also something my clients appreciate. I always answer my phone and e-mails promptly which is what sets me apart from most other agents.

4. What is your communication style like?

My communication style is conducive and adaptable to my client’s needs. Whether it be via text, phone call or e-mail, I make sure it matches my client’s needs. My clients will tell you that I always answer my phone or e-mails quickly and I believe communication in a real estate transaction is the most essential tool you can have.

5. What’s your favorite neighborhood in Denver?

Cherry Hills Village, Cherry Creek, The Highlands, and Berkeley are all neighborhoods I love showing homes in and driving around. These aren’t the only ones but are the ones that stand out the most to me.

6. What are you passionate about?

My passion lies in 3 areas.

1.) My family. I would do anything for them, and I try each day to be a good role model for my two boys.

2.) Creating exceptional experiences for people. The reason I became a real estate agent is to make a positive difference in the lives of those who are purchasing the most significant investment of their lives.

3.) Sports and Entertainment. I love the atmosphere of going to a game or concert and watching or listening to my favorite athletes/artists. It’s an outlet for me to play softball, attend a sports game and share those experiences with my family, friends, and clients.

7. What organizations are you passionate about being involved with?

Realities for Children. I am very passionate about helping people, especially children. Growing up, I know from experience what it’s like to have others helping my family and myself out. If it wasn’t for genuine people in the community, I might never have had clothes, school supplies or even shoes to play basketball. It’s this type of experience that drives me every day to make a difference, not just in my children’s lives, but also the lives of children in Colorado. To be able to give back to something I was personally affected by is a feeling that I can’t explain. Every person I help in the Real Estate world makes a difference in children’s lives, and I couldn’t be happier about that!
