Buying A Home In Boulder

Berkeley is a city-center neighborhood located in Northwest Denver. Proximate to both Interstate 25 and Interstate 70, it is bordered by the West Highland neighborhood on the south. For outdoors lovers, the neighborhood has Rocky Mountain Lake Park as well as Berkeley Park, which houses a recreation center with indoor and outdoor public pools. Tennyson Street, a main throughway, is a major commercial and cultural center for the city. The first Friday of every month hosts an Art Walk on the street from 48th to 38th Avenues.

In terms of schools, Berkeley has both public and private offerings. Skinner Middle School and Centennial A School for Expeditionary Learning are available for preschool to 8th grade students. For private schools, there is Arrupe Jesuit High School and Messiah Baptist School.

This neighborhood is sprinkled with some of Denver’s top restaurants, vintage shops, high-end galleries and quaint bookstores all located along the popular Tennyson Street. Berkeley Lake and Rocky Mountain Lake Park are two scenic parks that are located in this community. This area offers an eclectic mixture of homes ranging from brick Bungalows to modern built townhomes, giving the neighborhood a funky artistic feel, and easy access to Denver’s main highways.
